Leptin is a hormone that stores fat in your body, so anything that can stop the production of leptin will have an immediate effect on health and weight.

3. Olive oil:

Replacing your regular cooking oil with olive oil will not only suppress your appetite because olive oil is a natural appetite suppressant but also, you will lower your cholesterol levels considerably as olive oil contains high levels of unsaturated fats and very small levels of saturated fats; which are a major contributing factor in cases of high cholesterol levels.

4. Berries:

All berries; blackberries, blueberries, strawberries etc will help with weight loss, strawberries in particular are extremely good as they are an appetite suppressant that not only taste good but are full of anti oxidants as are many of it’s berry cousins. Strawberries are particularly good at getting rid of hunger pangs (no cream with those strawberries!).

Losing weight doesn’t mean you have to starve yourself as this small selection of super foods show, and too many people think that in order to achieve quick weight loss crash diets are the order of the day but that is absolute nonsense.

There are specific types of food that can truly be called super foods in that they will actually require your body to burn a greater amount of calories during the eating and digestive process than they actually contain. These super foods are commonly known as negative calorie foods and you would be amazed at how many of these foods there are.
