Can you just imagine have fresh, clean breath almost all of the time? When your brush your teeth in the morning and rinse with mouthwash, just think how good it will feel to have that clean taste a lot longer? What if you could ditch all of those expensive teeth whiting products and extra trips to the dentist to get rid of that yellow staining? What will it be like to be able to speak closely with someone, even non-smokers, and not have to worry about whether or not your breath is offending them. All of this can be yours if you stop smoking cigarettes.

Of course, this is not really the most important reason you want to stop smoking, but it will not hurt anything to have it as additional incentive to quit. Your health should be at the forefront of your quitting because you know that the longer you smoke, the more likely you will be to develop a serious disease or smoking related illness. Just imagine that when you quit you will be able to actually contemplate a future without as much worry of developing a terrible cancer of some kind. Of course, not smoking does not guarantee that you will never get anything bad, but it will surely increase your odds against it.

Can you imagine a much longer long with your children, your grandchildren, and a happier, healthier retirement? You can likely have it if you only give up cigarettes. Not smoking anymore seems like a small sacrifice to make when you consider the benefits. It is almost impossible for anyone that smokes cigarettes to have a peaceful existence when you are always burdened with worry about your future. Every new ache and pain as you get older can trigger morbid thoughts of illness that could be related to the smoking. These very thoughts are what drives many smokers to finally give it up. The only problem is that many of them also wait so long to do it that the risk of getting sick because of it remains.

Only when you stop smoking early enough does it actually help your body to start healing itself. If you wait until a disease is already developing or the cigarettes have caused irreversible damage, it is still good that you go ahead and stop. It will always help to not further cause damage. Just imagine you never get sick from smoking and what a wonderful life you might have without it.
