Warts on feet can be one of the most nerve wrecking skin infections that you can get next to warts on hands. When you have them and you are walking it feels like you have those small tiny stones in your shoes. How annoying. To make matters worse there is not any one in particular who is exempt from being susceptible to warts.

Warts on feet are the secular name for plantar warts. It is one of the many types of warts that one can get. There are also hand and genital warts. They can actually appear anywhere on your body to torture your mind frame with their unnecessary presence.

Warts on feet are caused by the human papillomavin virus. The papilloma virus can do a lot of weird things to humans but this is just one of the variations of it. It is spread by touching another person or object that already was in contact with it. It is therefore kind of hard to not get it since you are always in contact with something or someone else.

Warts on feet can be more painful than any other types of warts because let’s face it, we are always on our feet. This weight that we put on our feet flattening the warts is what makes them to evolve into a painful infection that would be otherwise just a bump on your skin.

Considering that we cannot see the human papilloma virus or know where exactly it is located, prevention of getting warts on our feet is practically impossible. The only thing that one can do is be as hygienic as possible and just hope for the best. That’s about it.

Warts on the feet would be most probably caused by stepping with our bare feet on an area with the human papilloma virus on it. Since we cannot see where that is then I would suggest that we always wear sandals in public showers and restrooms where everyone is walking around with their damp bare feet on the floor.

If one can bear with them then the warts on feet are not going to be there forever. They will go away with time. They will however take longer than warts on hands because of wearing socks and shoes and walking on them all the time. If one cannot bear them then next stop doctor’s cabinet.

The simplest treatment in my opinion for warts on feet would be by applying medication on them. This may take longer than other methods so not many people would opt for this out of all the choices a doctor presents to them.

Warts on feet can be treated by freezing them using some liquid Nitrogen and I guess you can picture the rest of the process. It comes off like a flake. This method may cost you quite a buck though so I don’t know how many would go for it. Another method would be to burn off the warts which can be somewhat painful.

There are many other home base remedies for getting warts off your feet that should be looked into before surgery. These methods are usually less intrusive and not painful.
