In addition, the intake of carbohydrates and fats are essential as well. Good carbohydrates are obtained from different sources such as fibrous vegetables and freshly picked fruits.

You should not, on the other hand totally get rid of fat from your diet because you need it for proper body functioning. However, the fat that should only be consumed in moderate amounts are the oils from peanut, canola and olive.

You may also avoid consuming “refined” foods because once foods are processed, the lost nutrients can never be reprocessed back thus increasing the chances of belly fats to be stored.

Furthermore, enough sleep should go well with exercise and diet. Less sleep also means being overweight. Why? It is because when we do not get enough sleep, there is not enough protein to control the appetite, leptin, is not released well. Meaning, not having enough leptin will send the message to the brain that will tell you when your stomach is full. As a result, you are eating more calories than you can actually burn. Surely this is not the situation you would want to be in.
