How Can I Think Myself Thin?

How Can I Think Myself Thin?

Now what if we could show you a system of eating and very specific short exercises which is so different from anything else you’ve ever seen and has already proven to have helped over 167,481 others permanently change their body shape within 2 months? See how at http://www.Secrets2MyGreatBody.com.

The most powerful weapon that you have at your disposal is your mind. You can do amazing things with your mind at any stage of your life – you can achieve whatever you want to with the right mindset and the right motivation. When it comes to weight loss, this is no different.

If you have tried all the diets and none of them worked, and you have resorted to trying that new diet pill, then the odds are that you have been bitterly disappointed with the results, or non-results. The reason for this is that probably you were far from in the right state of mind before you began.

Visualization is a fantastic tool when it comes to achieving your weight loss goals. Losing the weight and keeping it off becomes so much easier when you are mentally prepared for the massive challenges that lie in wait for you. If you believe that you can accomplish this task, then you’re already half way there.

When you think of yourself as thin, then it is a powerful image. Your subconscious mind, the part of our brain that keeps the conscious bit ticking over, can see this image, and the more you use it, the more it will be convinced that you can be thin. If you are struggling to lose weight, it may well be that you do not have a subconscious image of yourself as a thinner person.

Convincing your subconscious mind is not as easy as convincing yourself consciously. You might consciously think of yourself as thin, but your subconscious is sitting in the background saying unhelpful things like “yeah, right. Who are you trying to fool?”

It takes considerable time and effort to make these changes. If you constantly think of yourself as fat and overweight, then this is the prevailing self-image that will not change. If you think of yourself as out of shape, then this is what your mind will believe.

Visualization is not a magic pill and it’s not the magic wand that means you will instantly shed those unwanted extra pounds, but it does mean that you are started on the road to serious weight loss with the correct frame of mind. It can help you maintain the weight loss as well, as when the weight does start to fall, you already have a picture of the thin newer you that the brain can believe.

Incorporate this positive mental picture of yourself with good nutrition and regular exercise – make all three of these part of your daily lifestyle. The only real way to lose weight and maintain that weight loss is exercise and eat healthily – the visualization part is just another tool that will help you to do so.
Remember to relax – this will make your visualizations much more effective.

To reach your subconscious mind, you must be relaxed. Whenever you are in a state of agitation, your subconscious mind simply shuts up shop and waits for the agitation to pass. Choose a place that is quiet and serene and think about your new thinner self-image. Make the images as real as possible – try this for a few times and the image of the thinner you will become like second nature.
