http://www.conceptgolf.com/ is your one stop to learn to play golf. Come see how we can improve your game today.

Among the many types of sports being played today, golf is one of the most unique. Its a strenuous activity but golfers swear they feel tension and stress flow out of their bodies once they hit the greens. Its both an exercise and a form of relaxation.

Other sports do have the same effect when it comes to releasing tension but most of them leave a player exhausted and spent. Golf is tiring too but the manner its being played enables players to rest while playing. Its one of the reasons why businessmen and executives try to learn to play golf.

Golf is played in a large, well designed and maintained course. Flip a page in a golf magazine and you will marvel at the breathtaking golf courses all over the world. This alone should be enough to convince anybody to learn to play golf.

Golf courses are usually created and designed with hotel like amenities. In fact, some of the biggest hotels in America have their own golf courses. Its no wonder why golfers feel relaxed while still straining for their swings. Many golf converts admit its the courses that they fell in love first when they began to learn to play golf.

Golf is one sport that doesnt have a time limit. Its for this reason its sometimes called a lazy mans game. Add to that the fact that caddies is assigned to each golfer to carry their bags and equipments for them. If this is the kind of sport you like, then you should learn to play golf.

Golf is also a good sport for people who like to hang out with their friends. Competition is to be expected but unlike other games like basketball there is no physical contact involved. Many people who learn to play golf were either convinced by family or friends who are into the sport.

There are also many lessons that golf can teach an individual who wishes to learn to play golf. Values like patience, self discipline, and respect are just a few. Golf is unique in such a way that a lot of things can affect the outcome of the game. Weather, humidity, fatigue, impatience, and even a distractive bystander can make or break a golfers shot.

If all of these things appeal to your sporting side then its the cue that you should learn to play golf. The beauty about this sport is it doesnt have an age limit. As long as you can hold a golf club properly and dont have medical conditions that would affect your game then you will fit in nicely. And while the equipment may cost you some money, its not really true that its only a rich mans game.

Tooth whitening or tooth bleaching is a procedure used in cosmetic dentistry to improve the color of a patients teeth. This can boost the patients self confidence and in some cases transform lives.

All You Ever Wanted To Know About Tooth Whitening But Were Too Afraid To Ask

Ben Whitlow writes for http://www.aesthetique.me.uk who are a Cosmetic and General Dental Practice based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Aesthetique use cutting edge technology in every aspect of dental treatment and dental care.

There are various reasons for discoloured teeth, e.g staining from foods, smoking red wine. Throughout a persons lifetime their teeth will pick up stains. Certain antibiotics are known to stain teeth especially tetracyclines which can cause a banded appearance to teeth.

Tooth whitening may be carried out in a dental surgery or alternatively using home kits. It is strongly advised that the treatment is carried out by a dental professional and NOT by a beautician as this is a medical procedure.

Remember your dentist is qualified and insured to carry out these procedures. A beautician is neither qualified or legally permitted to carry out this procedure. There have been instances where harm has resulted to patients due to unqualified persons carrying out the procedure.

ALWAYS ensure a dentist carries out this procedure for your own safety.

In surgery bleaching
Following an examination by a dentist most in-surgery whitening procedures use a protective layer to protect the gums. This is to reduce the risk damage to the gums.

The bleaching agent is either carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide. The bleaching gel typically contains carbamide peroxide and hydrogen peroxide by concentration.

The bleaching agent is applied to the teeth and gently agitated by the dentist and reapplied usually 2 to 3 times. A light cure machine or laser may be used to activate the gel. It is debatable whether this improves the speed or efficacy of the procedure.

The benefits of this procedure include that the patient can have the treatment completed usually within an hour at their convenience.

Home whitening kits
Following an examination by a dentist customized close fitting trays are constructed to fit to a patients teeth. These are to be worn by the patient on a night time loaded with the bleaching agent. Carbamide peroxide usually sixteen percent is commonly used. The teeth are usually bleached for 7 to 10 days.

Benefits of this procedure include that the patient can re-use the trays if they wish to top-up their bleaching in few years time.

A simple course of tooth whitening can produce huge improvements in the cosmetic appearance of most stained teeth.

Tooth whitening should be avoided if teeth have decay. It should also be noted that tooth whitening will not whiten existing fillings, crowns, veneers or bridges.

Generally the tooth whitening is carried out first prior to replacement of crowns or veneers and then the restorations are done to match the new whitened color of the teeth.

Although there are a wide range of over the counter whitening products available and countless unauthorized products promising brilliant white teeth advertised on the net. The results are often less than desirable and do not live up to the results that can be achieved by a dentist.

Risks
Provided the bleaching is carried out carefully and under the supervision of a dentist the side effects are minimal. Short term sensitivity may occur which usually resolves in a couple of days.

Adverse effects to the teeth has rarely been noted provided the bleach has been administered and used correctly.

How long does it last?

This varies from person to person. However, if you avoid foods that stain and tobacco, red wine, coffee, tea the results may last for a number of years.

Reputable dental surgeons will give a free consultation whereby the patient may ask questions and voice any concerns.

The leading cosmetic dentists will have a range of distractions to make the patient feel at ease such as 3D TV and iPod players with headphones.

Treatments such as laser injections to numb the area can be given which are painfree. There is no need to worry about pain or risk if you choose a good dentist.

A True Superfood: Olive Oil

All About Food Medicine – Healthy foods are the natural medicines that will prevent common health problems the natural way – http://www.thefoodmedicine.com

Olive oil is a mainstay in cultures around the Mediterranean Ocean. At times, this oil and the fruit from which it comes from has been used as currency, a way to bathe without water and for quite a long time has been a major contributor to the diet of the cultures that surround the Mediterranean. For this region, olive oil is an integral part of almost every meal and in some areas forty percent of the average person’s daily caloric intake is from olive oil.

With all that fat in the diet, certainly these people are asking for heart problems as well as a host of other problems, right? The answer, however, couldn’t be farther from the truth. The people who live around the Mediterranean are some of the healthiest people around and, on average, have longer life expectancies than most of the other cultures around the world.

What can Olive Oil Do?

Olive oil has been shown to help with many different facets of health. First of all, olive oil has been used in traditional medicine for hundreds of years. To this day, natural healing doctors use olive oil preparations as part of treatment for many ailments. For example, natural medicine calls for a tonic of olive oil and lemon juice to help treat gallstones. The oil itself is very well tolerated by the stomach. Most people can easily handle the recommended amounts of olive oil and likely couldn’t handle similar quantities of any other oil. The olive oil encourages the production of bile and hormones in the pancreas far better than any drug. This combination helps break up the gallstones naturally.

On top of this, there are many studies into olive oil and its effects on the body because of the Mediterranean diet showing such promise in terms of healthy living. The research shows that because olive oil is full of monounsaturated fat that olive oil helps control bad cholesterol levels and help raise the good cholesterol levels. This helps prevent cholesterol plaque from adhering to cellular walls and helps prevent both heart disease and high blood pressure. The numbers from countries along the Mediterranean Ocean of cases of heart disease are the proof: There is one case of heart disease per capita to twenty seven cases in the United States.

There have been studies showing that olive oil helps prevent a number of different types of cancer. Of these, the most studied is colon cancer. The testing in rats has shown a dramatic decrease from what would be the equivalent of two tablespoons a day in humans.

What makes Olive Oil Work?

As mentioned, monounsaturated fats is one of the main causes for the health effects of olive oil. However, there are other components that contribute to the health effects which olive oil appears to contribute to. Extra Virgin olive oil is especially high in antioxidants and phenols. Both of which contribute to heart health as well as overall health. Both of these chemicals help bind to free radicals which otherwise could get into cells and do damage to the DNA and cell walls. Free radical damage has been associated with cancer as well as being one of the causes of aging.

As an added bonus, olive oil is very high in the much researched Omega-3 fatty acids. Most people outside of the Mediterranean has an imbalance of Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acids. Omega-6’s contribute to plaque and other issues while Omega-3’s have been shown to very helpful for overall health and research is showing that Omega-3’s help prevent heart disease by helping keep arterial walls pliable and flexible. This helps prevent the walls from developing cracks which then get sealed with clots; clots which can grow and lead to blockage or break off and cause an embolism or stroke. By helping maintain a positive balance of Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acids, olive oil helps counteract any potential damage which could be done by other foods consumed with the olive oil.

A Heart to Heart About the Benefits of Tea

All About Food Medicine – Healthy foods are the natural medicines that will prevent common health problems the natural way – http://www.thefoodmedicine.com

For years now we’ve heard that tea is one of the healthiest things you can drink. We’ve read and heard about how good tea is for our immune system, how it can ward off cancer, and how it can strengthen our arteries and prevent heart disease. Tea has, in fact, been touted as a super-food, a natural source of unique compounds that help improve our health in every way. But just how effective is tea for keeping us healthy? And more specifically, just how good is tea for our heart?

Ever since we first noticed that people from eastern tea-drinking cultures seemed to enjoy longer and healthier lives, tea has become the focus for an intense amount of research. While initial examinations have conclusively demonstrated that regular green tea consumption reduces the risk of almost every major disease, more recent studies have begun to reveal exactly how and why tea is as beneficial as it is.

Scientifically speaking, tea derives all of its major healing benefits from a powerful group of antioxidants known as catechins. When it comes to your cardiovascular health, these catechins protect your heart and your arteries in two significant ways.

Firstly, these antioxidants have an amazing relaxing power on your arteries. Multiple studies have shown that by drinking a single cup of tea, you can make your blood vessels more flexible for up to two hours. Because your arteries are able to expand and contract more readily, your heart doesn’t have to work as hard to pump blood through your body, and as a result, your blood pressure will remain lower.

Secondly, these antioxidants also reduce the number of free radicals (harmful molecules) present in your blood stream. In layman’s terms, this means that the compounds present in tea prevent harmful plaque from building up on your arterial walls. These antioxidants are so powerful, that they will prevent damage and permanent arterial hardening regardless of how unhealthy your diet is. Even the greasiest fast food seems to have little effect on your heart so long as you have a glass of tea with your meal.

Although tea is a potent ally for protecting the health of your heart, there are a few ways to ensure you receive its maximum benefits. Just a little bit of citrus added to your tea has been shown to vastly increase the amount of antioxidants your body will absorb. At the same time, new research from Germany has revealed that adding dairy milk to your tea will render these antioxidants completely ineffective. So the next time you sit down to enjoy your afternoon cup, think lemon and honey instead of sugar and cream.

Moderate alcohol consumption can actually have positive health impacts. The benefits include improve cholesterol rates and a reduction in heart attack risk.

Can Alcohol Really Reduce the Risk of Heart Attacks?

All About Food Medicine – Healthy foods are the natural medicines that will prevent common health problems the natural way – http://www.thefoodmedicine.com

We have all been told how harmful alcohol can be, but in recent studies it has been shown that alcohol can actually reduce the risk of heart attacks. Yes, it’s true. In moderation, alcohol really can save your life. Throughout this article we will look at how alcohol works to reduce the risk of heart attacks.

So we look in the papers and listen to the news of how we should reduce our alcohol intake, but in moderation it can actually reduce the risk of heart attacks. But, how can this be?

Heart attacks have become more of a common occurrence than most of us would like to believe. Due to poor diets, smoking and sedentary lifestyles our arteries and hearts are becoming clogged up with something called cholesterol. Cholesterol “sticks” to our arteries building up over time. This, in turn, can cause high blood pressure as the heart has to work harder. If the artery totally blocks, a heart attack is assured.

So, how can alcohol reduce heart attacks and how does it improve cholesterol levels?

It does sound a little out of this world, but in moderation a nip of alcohol can be a good thing. When we consume alcohol it can act as a blood thinner, which means that blood is able to pass through cholesterol-filled arteries with greater ease. As long as alcohol is consumed in moderation then it is likely it can reduce your risk of a heart attack, especially in smokers as the products from cigarettes are known to thicken the blood putting smokers at a higher risk of heart attacks.

Alcohol also is found to improve cholesterol by increasing the good cholesterol in the body and breaking down the bad cholesterol that blocks up the arteries causing hear attacks.

Another way that moderate alcohol consumption helps improve the good cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attacks is due to it being a clot buster. Alcohol reduces the risk of heart attacks because it breaks down the clots in the blood stream that get caught up in the bad cholesterol which then cause heart attacks and other severe medical problems such as strokes.

It seems quite amazing that something that we have been told is so bad for us can actually help save our lives if consumed in moderate levels.

According to the American Heart Association the idea that alcohol can reduce the risk of heart attacks is becoming more widely studied, so in the near future we will have far more proof that alcohol really is good in moderation for our health.

There are many reasons why alcohol is a good way to reduce the risk of heart attacks. Alcohol reduces high blood pressure, which contributes to heart attacks. It does this by thinning the blood in a way similar to an aspirin. It stops blood clotting in the arteries and breaks down clots that are forming which can also cause heart attacks and other life threatening illnesses. Overall with the amount of research that is taking place and what has been discovered it seems that alcohol in moderation really can save your life.

Cure Your Cholesterol with Strawberries

All About Food Medicine – Healthy foods are the natural medicines that will prevent common health problems the natural way – http://www.thefoodmedicine.com

Are you worried about heart disease? If you are, you have good reason to be afraid; and if you aren’t afraid, you should be. Heart disease is no laughing matter. Every year, heart and arterial disease kills more people than any other cause. And whether those deaths result from heart attacks or strokes, high cholesterol is usually the culprit. Fortunately, you’re not powerless against heart disease. Protecting yourself may even be easier than you think. But would you believe that preventing heart disease could be as easy as curing your cholesterol with strawberries?

As one of the most popular fruits in the world, strawberries can be found in abundant amounts on every continent. Strawberries are an integral part of almost every major global cuisine, and they have worked their way into every meal of the day. Strawberry remains the most popular flavor of jams, jellies, ice creams, yogurts, chewing gums, candies, and more. The world is in love with strawberries, but there’s more to love about strawberries than the way they taste.

It just so happens that strawberries are one of the healthiest foods in existence. Packed with dozens of essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, strawberries alone can provide us with almost everything our bodies need to function properly. They’re low in calories, high in fiber, and overflowing with all sorts of beneficial phytochemicals.

Among these many plant-based compounds, none are more beneficial for our hearts than the phenolic antioxidants found in abundance in strawberries. Although berry research is still in its infancy, numerous studies have already investigated the possible benefits of consuming strawberries. Almost all have turned up remarkable evidence.

Most recently, a major study conducted in Finland looked into the relationship between strawberry consumption and blood pressure in the elderly. In this study, a group of subjects were given half a cup of berry juice daily along with small servings of fresh berries. By the end of eight weeks, the researchers found that not only had these subjects significantly reduced their blood pressure, they had lowered their LDL (bad) cholesterol levels while raising their good (HDL) cholesterol levels by over 5%.

In addition to the immediate cardiovascular improvements to their blood pressure and arterial health, the researchers additionally discovered that the berry eaters experienced improved blood-platelet function, and had thereby reduced their risk of clotting in addition to other cardiovascular diseases. And at the time the study had finished, the subjects’ health was still continuing to improve, suggesting that continuing a berry-rich diet could only keep improving their health.

Since this study, other studies have confirmed these findings. A serving size of as little as 4oz of strawberries a day will have immediate and noticeable effects on your heart health. Who knew that curing your cholesterol could be so easy – or so delicious!

Weight loss surgery may be an option for you if you are trying to lose weight. Find out more about the important details.

Important Details You Need to Know About Weight Loss Surgeries

Details on Las Vegas weight loss surgery is found on http://www.lasvegasweightlosssurgery.com

Some people may be bothered by their excess weight. In a weight loss surgery, the size of your stomach is reduced in order to minimize your food intake. This process can help you lose a considerable amount of weight. This procedure alone is not enough, as it requires lifelong maintenance of a healthy lifestyle that includes a balance of the right diet and exercise. Before you undergo weight loss surgery, you must be aware of the following:

Before undergoing weight loss surgery, it’s a must for you know about the different types of weight loss surgeries, pre-op consultation, the weight loss surgery procedure, and the post-op care.

Types of weight loss surgery

The 3 most common methods of weight loss surgeries are the gastric bypass surgery, the lap-band surgery and the gastric sleeve surgery. In a gastric bypass surgery, the smaller, upper part of your stomach is stapled making it separated from the rest. The small intestine is detoured to the smaller stomach pouch. For a lap-band surgery, a silicone rubber band is placed around the top part of your stomach, making a small pouch. This results in feeling full early as food travels much slower in the stomach. On the other hand, the use of a laparoscopic tool that is inserted through small incisions happens in a gastric sleeve surgery. This tool serves as a visual navigator inside the gastro-intestinal tract during the procedure.

Pre-op consultation

Like any surgical procedures, a consultation with the surgeon for this operation is mandatory. If you feel you are overweight and you are unable to maintain your previous weight management programs, or if your weight is causing you social and aesthetic problems, you might try undergoing weight loss surgery. The doctor willevaluate your medical records to check if surgery will complicate any of them. He will explain to you the important details about the procedure and some preparation you must undergo. It is a must that you ask the doctor questions and express your feelings towards the surgery. Some topics you might want to bring up are dietary guidelines, post-op scenario, the type of surgery that is best for you and maintenance after the surgery.

Weight loss surgery procedure

The weight loss surgery is performed under the use of general anesthesia. The difference in each method was explained above. The gastric bypass surgery may take 1-4 hours, the lap-band surgery may take from 30 minutes to 1 hour, and the gastric sleeve resection is about 4 hours. A hospital stay is needed after the procedure.

Post-op care

Recuperation and rehabilitation are the primary concerns you should focus on after surgery. Resuming all of your normal day to day activities may be hard at first. Your eating habits may drastically change. Recovery periods vary from each patient, but most people can resume regular functioning within six weeks after the surgery. The amount of food intake is also crucial for you to lose a considerable amount of weight. Most people will have loose skin after the weight loss. This can be fixed by undergoing cosmetic surgery.

This surgery is not only aimed to help you with your weight loss goals. It will also improve you appearance, reduce health risks, and help you regain your confidence and self-esteem with your healthier body.

Brandon Young is a fitness enthusiast, and independent researcher, who enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. He wants to help people achieve their fat loss goals, by giving them the information and motivation they need. If you really want to get lean fast, and want to know the whole truth about how to burn fat fast, check out http://www.truth-about-burning-fat.com, and get a free gift “Six Critical Keys To Rapid Fat Loss Revealed”.

When dieting, there are both good and bad foods to eat. Good foods help speed your metabolism, allowing your body to burn more fat. Bad foods will turn your body into a fat-storage center, effective sabotaging any effort to burn fat.To be successful at burning fat, you must know the difference between the two types and consume the good foods consistently.

You must avoid Consuming these ten foods if you want to burn fat.

1) Margarine is terrible for dieters. It is packed with calories and contains trans fats. Trans fats are very popular in the media because they are terrible for you. Several health problems such as heart disease, high cholesterol, and cancer have been linked to the consumption of margarine.

2) White bread contains none of the nutritional value of whole grain bread. Grains should serve as complex carbohydrates, but white bread acts more like a simple sugar. As such, it raises your insulin levels too high, therefore; causing your body to store more fat.

3) French fries also contain lots of trans fats, and even carcinogens. Even when they are eaten periodically, french fries are still deemed unsafe for the body by many health experts. They contain an abundance of calories. Avoid them if you want to burn fat and be healthy

4) Processed cheese is rich in fat, salt, and calories. In fact, most manufacturers of processed cheese are legally required to label their processed cheese as cheese food or cheese product. The labels are required because the processed cheese food has no nutritional value.

5) whole milk has 3.7 percent fat content, and has twice the calories of skim milk. Skim milk makes for a better choice if you want the fast results. However, it would be even better to cut out milk entirely. Milk is for cows. It was designed for them, not human consumption.

6) Sausage and bacon are awful for a dieter. Three slices of bacon equal around 300 calories, many of which are saturated fat. Bacon also contains nitrates that turn into carcinogens. Pigs are nasty creatures. If you want to be like a pig, eat pork.

7) Cookies and crackers are tasty, but detrimental to your fat burning efforts. Overindulging in these is not difficult. Both food lack nutritional value, and are primarily simple sugars. These snacks cause an imbalance in blood sugar levels, and they contribute to the storage of fat in the body.
High sugar cereal is not good food for a dieter. If you want to eat cereal for breakfast, find one made from 100% whole grain, that has no added sugar.

9) Never drink most of your calories, especially from soft drinks. Soft drinks should be avoided at all costs when trying to burn fat. Soft drinks are also lacking nutritional value. They contain only sugar and calories. Even diet soft drinks should be avoided. The sweetening agent use in them is awful for you.

10) Ice cream is my absolute favorite food, but it is terrible when trying to burn fat. The many calories it contains come from a combination of both saturated fat and simple sugar. Ice cream also contains fillers, preservatives, and artificial flavorings, which do the body no good at all.

There are many foods that should be avoided when on a diet. These are some of the worst offenders. There is a pattern among these items, that can be applied to all foods. In general, avoid foods which contain simple sugars, saturated fats, trans fats, or any processed additives. Following the simple generalization will help you quite a bit. I hope you burn more fat as a result of avoiding the foods on this list. Good luck with your diet.

Buying an in-home gym? Here's a few tips to get the most for your money and enjoy your home gym.

In Home Gym – 4 Questions to Ask When Planning Your Home Gym

Chris Waters writes for http://www.Home-Gyms-Reviews.com offering the latest home gym reviews, ratings and buying tips.

For a list of where to buy home gyms at a discount visit http://www.Home-Gyms-Reviews.com/home-gym-equipment.html

Looking for an in home gym? A home gym means different things to different people.

For example, for some people it means a machine with weight stacks, cables and pulleys – similar to those in health clubs – that can help them build muscle. For others it means having a few cardio machines (like a treadmill and elliptical) plus a set of free weights.

In order to plan your best in home gym, here are 4 questions to ask yourself first:

#1 What Do You Want to Achieve?

For example, are you a guy who wants the six pack abs and built, muscular look? Then you’ll probably want a weight stack gym or a good set of free weights and a few sets of barbells.

Do you want both cardio and weight training in your workouts? Then you’ll probably want at least one cardio machine like a treadmill, elliptical or exercise bike along with some form of weight training equipment like dumbbells, a total gym or a weight stack gym.

Do you just want to burn fat and avoid getting the bulked-up muscular look? Then you may want to focus on a high calorie-burning cardio machine like an incline trainer or a treadclimber.

#2 How Much Space Do You Have?

No matter what equipment you decide to get, it’s important to consider your space first. Can you fit a few machines into the room or are you limited to one?

Will you be putting your gym in a corner (which gives you only 2 “workable” sides). What is your ceiling height and does your gym fit into that height?

You can get creative with space requirements.

For example there are some Bowflex machines that fold up and away. You can also find treadmills and ellipticals that fold away. Some home gyms even come with a rowing machine built in so you can get both cardio and weight training in one machine. However remember to at least consider your space requirements and plan out your gym accordingly.

#3 Where is Your Home Gym Located?

This is really a concern if you’re planning on having heavy weights or weight stack machines. These are mainly best for the basement.

Heavy machines can place a stress on higher floors – especially in older buildings. Also remember to have adequate lighting and ventilation in your gym area as well.

#4 What is Your Budget?

While planning building your in home gym can be progressive (meaning you can add to it piece by piece – without spending a lot of money at once), it’s important to keep your initial budget in mind.

For example, what is the most important piece of equipment you need first? What is your budget for that piece of equipment?

One tip that will save you money is to look around first. If you do your research you can often find a larger selection of equipment and substantial savings online.

In some cases you can buy direct from the manufacturer and skip the store middleman. Plus many online sellers will also give you free shipping, which also saves you quite a bit of money.

So by taking your time to research and look around online, you can save money (and maybe even afford to buy a few extras for your gym).

So those are 4 questions to ask when building an in home gym. Hopefully they can help you find the best equipment for your needs and save you money as well.

What Is Sinus Pressure? – Nurse’s Sinus Problem Guide

Next to find out more about how I cured myself of chronic sinus infections naturally forever go to my nurse’s website http://www.SinusCureReport.com for tips, treatments, natural treatments, causes and remedies and info on symptoms, surgery, nasal irrigation, sinus headaches and more!

If you’re suffering from sinus symptoms like sinus pressure or pressure and pain you may be wondering what’s causing it. You may be suffering from facial or cheek pain (or other possible sinus symptoms) and wonder if it’s related to your sinuses or whether it’s a sinus problem. In any case, sinus pressure is caused by inflamed, infected or blocked sinus cavities or pressure can occur if your sinus cavities become filled with mucus.

This resulting pressure in the sinus cavities can cause a feeling of tightness, pressure, pain and a blocked up or congested feeling, especially in the nasal passages, cheek, forehead or jaw. This pressure can also be felt in the teeth often making people think they have a toothache and head to the dentist.

The sinuses are important because the mucus in the cavities cleans and moistens the nasal passages and throat. You may once in awhile actually feel this mucus going down the back of your throat.

You have four sets of sinus cavities. Each set has openings into the nose to allow the mucus to drain and to get an exchange of air. When the cavities get inflamed and the openings (Ostia) narrow then the mucus is blocked and can’t get through into the nasal passages. When this blockage of the drainage occurs we may feel sinus pressure. This pressure can also be felt if a vacuum occurs which causes negative pressure and this will also cause a feeling of pressure and pain.

Sinus pressure is usually one of the symptoms of sinusitis, which includes sinus infections. This pressure and pain may leave a tight feeling.

This tightness can be felt behind the eyes, in the forehead or even the top of the head, in the jaw, cheeks and even in the ears. You can feel a pounding sometimes in your head, often referred to as a sinus headache or even in your face.

And you may think you have a toothache as mentioned or other type of dental pain.

Your sinus cavities must be kept clear of anything that may cause them to become blocked. Allergies, smoke, perfume fumes, dust mite droppings, chemical fumes, dust, animal dander, animal hair, animal fur, mold, pollen, etc. can all irritate and inflame the sinuses causing them to swell and block the openings.

Now besides blocked mucus (a quart must move through every day) drainage, air also gets trapped. You may feel very uncomfortable. The sinus pressure will be more severe and you may feel more pain. Many people refer to this feeling as a sinus attack.

You can cure or get rid of sinus pressure and sinus problems including sinusitis, sinus infections etc. with natural home treatment, by yourself. Antibiotics are generally not used since most sinus infections are caused by mold. Medications can just make things worse. There are many home treatments that you can do that will cure your sinus pressure right away.
